“Beware!!!”

wolf-in-sheeps-clothing

There’s a wolf among sheep!!! Be sure to put on the Full Armor Of God, and keep your spiritual ears and eyes open! Remember, the devil is a master manipulator and deceiver who is out to destroy your life, but what he doesn’t realize is he will never win against a BLOOD WASHED SAINT who is TOTALLY SOLD OUT. Much love, Dear Hearts!

I Think I Can!

00011Whatever the mind expects, it finds!!! —–> So think about this, Positive thinking is a mental attitude that admits into the mind thoughts, words and images that are conductive to growth, expansion and success. It is a mental attitude that expects good and favorable results. If you are thinking positively you anticipate joy, good health, love, success, etc. Would you agree? Many of you say that you are “thinking positively,” but are you really? You can put on a smile, laugh out loud and be feeling like a failure on the inside! Hey, you can fake it to the world, but God knows the “real deal,” dear Hearts! He knows you’re worried about what decision to make or how you’re going to get through the next three months, etc. He loves and cares for you, and He desires to see you truly blessed, happy, and fulfilled! So stop pretending that all is well, that nothing bothers you, that you’re fine…when you know deep down inside you’re loosing it!!! Yes, you’re a ticking time bomb! If one more person ticks you off you’re going to let them have it! If you could walk away from that job right now you would! Yeah, I’m stepping on your toes this afternoon, but it’s up to you to move your feet from that position! Ya hear me?

Face the negatives, and give them to God! Replace those thoughts with positive WORDS…God’s Word, great music, a in spiritual movie, a loving conversation with a true friend! Sometimes all it takes is talking to yourself! Speak to your spirit-man…command your thoughts to come under the authority of God! When your mind starts going left…SPEAK THE WORD!!! The devil doesn’t have a chance, but if you’re trying to combat your thoughts with your own made up thoughts you’ll be fighting a loosing battle! The enemy doesn’t care about you getting upset and throwing a fit! He’s not moved by that, but when you repeat what God has already spoken…He MUST Flee!!! In Jesus Name!!! Try it out, and you’ll see the difference!

Look, it’s time to take your life back! No more living in secret depression! I know for a fact that many of you who love God with your whole hearts are dealing with this, and I’m praying for you…wanting you to live a life full of JOY!!! Life is already short! No need to live everyday of your life sad, frustrated, and unfulfilled. The devil may have told you some craziness, but remember, HE’S A LIAR!!! Now go before God in prayer, and thank Him for being an awesome God! Focus your attention on Him for a change, and then purposefully plan out your days. Include something new into your routine. Break the cycle of “same old, same old.” YOU can do it!!! I know you can!

If someone told you that in 30 days you would receive $1 million dollars in your checking account after spending 30 minutes each morning with them…what would you do? Yeah, I thought so! God is saying the same thing to you. If you spend quality time with Him each day, He will shift your thinking…He will speak to you about your decisions, He’ll show you things you’ve never thought of, He’ll bless you in ways unexpected! When you’re consumed with Him there’s no room for anything negative, and even when you face life’s challenges those things will not overtake you and hold you back from living…I mean really LIVING!!! If anything, they will push you to do do more…to be greater, to appreciate what you do have, etc. Do you understand? I know, it’s a process, but when God designed you He didn’t make any mistakes!!! You can do ALL THINGS THROUGH CHRIST Who strengthens you!

Alright, I’m finished with my sermon for the day, but I really do pray for you all collectively each day. When I see others fulfilled it does my heart well! I love it! Well, I’ll check back in with you all later.

Love you with the Love of God, Chi Chi

“True Love…Indeed!”

true-loveYou can have all the money in the world, all the fame and opportunities, but if you don’t have TRUE LOVE in your life from a friend, a partner, family, etc….then you really don’t have anything! As Bishop said on yesterday, when you come to the end of your life, the only thing that really matters is LOVE! So think about it, in order to RECEIVE that type of LOVE you must be able to GIVE that type of LOVE, Dear Hearts. Who can you turn to and know, without a shadow of doubt, they will be there? Those kinds of relationships should be honored, valued, and treasured! For if you don’t, you may very well loose the Gift God gave you to get through this wonderful thing we call LIFE.

— Much Love, Chiquita

Need A Little Encouragement?

EncouragementStop waiting for others to stir up your faith, encourage you and get you excited about life! Remember David encouraged himself in the Lord! There was no one there cheering him on. It’s a testament to his relationship with God. You don’t have to have a group of people supporting you! God wants you to depend on Him, and He will open up opportunities for you totally unseen! Don’t give up!!! God’s got you!!! Now, encourage yourself, and fulfill your purpose in the earth!

Meditate on these scriptures:

Proverbs 30:5 – Every word of God proves true; He is a shield to those who take refuge in Him.

Zephaniah 3:17 -The LORD your God is in your midst, a mighty one who will save; He will rejoice over you with gladness; He will quiet you by His love; He will exult over you with loud singing.

tumblr_mjdj5wwMWF1qzkeejo1_500Hebrews 6:18 -So that by two unchangeable things, in which it is impossible for God to lie, we who have fled for refuge might have strong encouragement to hold fast to the hope set before us.

John 16:33- I have said these things to you, that in me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation. But take heart; I have overcome the world.”

Joshua 1:9 – Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be frightened, and do not be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.

Psalm 9:9 -The LORD is a stronghold for the oppressed, a stronghold in times of trouble. And those who know your name put their trust in you, for you, O LORD, have not forsaken those who seek you.

Matthew 11:28-29 -Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.

 Isaiah 41:10 -Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I signs-Trust-Godwill strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.

Deuteronomy 7:9 -Know therefore that the LORD your God is God, the faithful God who keeps covenant and steadfast love with those who love him and keep his commandments, to a thousand generations.

Psalm 32:8 -I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will counsel you with my eye upon you.

1 John 5:14 – And this is the confidence that we have toward Him, that if we ask anything according to His will He hears us.

52 Days of Pecking Orders by Bishop T.D. Jakes

My Pastor and Bishop, T.D. Jakes, preached a sermon called, “The Pecking Orders” at Woman Thou Art Loosed recently that led to this:

“For the next 52 Days, beginning tomorrow, we’re going to meet in the Spirit via social media. I’m going to be giving you “Pecking Orders” to help unlock FAVOR and POTENTIAL in your life and coach you into your destiny. Some of these orders will be spiritual…others will be natural, concerning issues like credit, debt, and leadership.

I’m challenging you to have 52 days of undistracted devotion with God. Get up early and give God the first fruits of your day. Have private devotion time. Meditate over Luke 2:52 and pray ‘Lord, Make me increase in wisdom and stature and favor…’ Then, read your pecking orders for the day and believe God for a shift in your life. ”   —-Bishop Jakes

Even if you didn’t start when Bishop gave his first set of Pecking Orders on October 7, 2012,  it’s not too late to start now.  There’s no time like the present time.  Like many of you, I’ve allowed my busy schedule to get in the way of following suit, but join me and many others who are determined to fulfill our purpose in the earth.  We long to be where God desires for us to be, and with that heart we know we’ll reach our appointed destiny!  God loves us so much, and He really wants the very best for His children.  Listen to His voice and be fulfilled!!!

—Love, Chiquita

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
WTAL 52 Days Pecking Order Day 1 -Lord, we start this journey and consecrate ourselves over the next 52 days. Lord, I’m asking you to break curses, remove restrictions, tear down barriers, heal discrepancies, work out credit reports, and open up unbelievable favor. Send the kind of FAVOR that will remind them of this defining moment. In the spirit Lord, I see doors flying open like at a grocery store doors opening before they can even touch them. Let doors fly wide open.
Make ways for your people as we align ourselves with your word. Meet us in the spirit, Lord. Change lives, give increase and create new positions. I speak promotion. I speak entrepreneurs. I speak a new generation of evangelists, prophets and bible scholars. Let your gifts flourish right now, in Jesus name…Amen.
WTAL 52 Days Pecking Order Day 2 – The restoration of your credit is the redemption of your name. No matter how long it takes, don’t let the enemy steal your name. The Bible says a good name is better than precious ointment and more desirable than great riches (Eccl 7:1; Prov 22:1).
Most people, once a credit score is diminished, accept it as if it were a terminal disease. This isn’t a sickness unto death!! The truth is actually simple. Bad choices are often the reason we got in trouble. So, good choices will get you out! Take control of your destiny by plotting your way to repairing the damage. Step 1…
Asses the Damage
  1. Go online and get your credit report. Stop running from reality. You can’t ignore the facts. Dispute any known discrepancies listed on the report! The Fair Credit Reporting Act requires the credit bureaus to provide you a free copy of your credit report annually. Get yours at http://www.annualcreditreport.com/
WTAL 52 Days Pecking Order Day 3 -Yesterday we assessed the damage of exactly where our credit really is. Now, let’s work on a plan to improve your credit and eliminate outstanding debt…Step 2
Set Up A Plan
  1. The old adage says: “How do you eat an elephant? …One bite at a time.” No matter how small the bites…lets get started! To clean up your credit, keep a log for each credit bureau to track your disputes, letters written to creditors and any items you pay off or settle. When it comes to eliminating debt, setup a budget to know exactly “where art thou”and track your income and monthly expenses. Attack the highest interest rates first to reduce your outstanding credit balances.
Keep pecking…
WTAL 52 Days Pecking Order Day 4 – So now that you know where you stand and you’re working on your plan…Step 3
 Celebrate your small successes
  1. I don’t mean go on a shopping spree either!! But do congratulate yourself. You are pecking your way out!  You need the rewarded feeling of regaining control of your name. Don’t wait till you’re out to celebrate your progress. Are you still pecking away?
WTAL 52 Days Pecking Order Day 5 – BEFORE you take any great step, or make ANY decision, your focus must not be on just your immediate plans to build or establish. Take time to focus on the far more difficult processes that will follow and the long-term consequences of your decision. In Luke 14:28, Jesus says no man builds a tower without, first, counting up the costs!
God wants you to have KNOWLEDGE! Following this wisdom ensures you are not one of the people who learn this lesson by experiencing pain and regret that could have easily been avoided by simply having the information. Keep Pecking….
WTAL 52 Days Pecking Order Day 6In making important decisions, you must realize that bad choices can cause you to face a setback! You can’t afford this, so make every move count because they affect your POSITION. This requires several things…
• Research—gathering information and collecting data
• Roadwork—removing obstacles and clearing the path
• Rewards—listing choices and imagining their consequences or benefits
• Revelation—narrowing my options and making my selection
• Rearview—looking back and adjusting as necessary to stay on course.
Following these guidelines helps me move confidently into the future with no regrets. What’s your next move? Keep pecking…
WTAL 52 Days Pecking Order Day 7 – As God POSITIONS you for His plans and exposes you to new things, have the COURAGE to listen to your heart and not just your mind. God gave you an inner voice for a reason, and He is not insulted when you listen to it.
Your decisions will require Godly discernment! Much of the anxiety and regret that come from the weight of your decisions can be alleviated or avoided if you assemble all of your information and have the right KNOWLEDGE.
P-E-C-K
WTAL 52 Days Pecking Order Day 8KNOWLEDGE insists and affirms that no question is too stupid to ask. The step you must always remember as you go forward is “Research.” Your choices are no stronger than the facts you have. This requires information! “My people are destroyed from lack of KNOWLEDGE” (Hosea 4:6 NIV).
Chicks, get the information! Never attempt to silence the voice within you that continues to question!
Keep Pecking….
WTAL 52 Days Pecking Order Day 9Always have the COURAGE to force the hard questions! It’s the issues you never thought to ask about that can wreak havoc on your life!
Throughout the Bible, you see people like Abraham, Moses, David, Jesus and Paul not shying away from the difficult questions their situations posed to them. Each of them did one key thing: they sought God!
In James 1:5, God promises wisdom to all who ask Him for it! Take COURAGE in God’s wisdom! Never be afraid of the hard questions.
Keep Pecking…..
WTAL 52 Days Pecking Order Day 10 – During singlehood, before you make a rash and irrational decision, see your loneliness as a gift and solitude as your time of preparation for a good relationship. It’s all about POSITIONING! During her time of preparation, Esther did everything she was taught to do in order to win the eye, admiration and affection of a man she had NEVER met! God positioned her right where she needed to be to win Xerxes’ heart and save her people! Singlehood is not a death sentence. It’s a time of preparation and POSITIONING! Keep Pecking…..
WTAL 52 Days Pecking Order Day 11Blame is a learned behavior that you can unlearn, but it takes COURAGE to move on from the familiarity of past mistakes and methods!
Develop a strategy that focuses on where you’re going and what God is saying will happen. Philippians 3:13-14 describes the outlook we should have: “I do not consider myself to have taken hold of it. But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus.”
Instead of spending energy on blame, move into the future and begin visualizing what success and victory look like.
Keep pecking…
WTAL 52 Days Pecking Order Day 12Anger is rarely the first emotion. Fear usually strikes first, preying on what we don’t know. Therefore, the solution requires KNOWLEDGE! As you continue forward, decide to work for a solution instead of being angry. You cannot control what happens to you, but you can control how you respond to situations and issues.
“Human anger does not produce the righteousness God desires” (James 1:20 NIV). You have a choice to make. You can stand with angry fists raised, or you can assume responsibility for your response and refuse to be a victim of your own anger. Keep Pecking…
WTAL 52 Days Pecking Order Day 13Don’t stop PECKING! Instead of feeling battered, choose to have the faith that you can rebuild your life! Philippians 4:13 (NKJV) gives us a reminder that “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me”.
Do not yield power over your life to others in the process of releasing the trauma of your past. “Remember ye not the former things, neither consider the things of old” (Isaiah 43:18 KJV).
Tenaciously gather what power is within your reach and rebuild your life, no matter how battered you might feel by circumstances. Get ready for POSITIONING, EXPOSURE, COURAGE and KNOWLEDGE!
WTAL 52 Days Pecking Order Day 14You’ve got to get involved! Make the decision! Before anything will change, you must decide YOU want to change!
You must decide to yield to God’s will and allow Him to POSITION you where you need to be before the next shifting occurs! But, change is not easy. It requires COURAGE!
In the terrifying, soul-tingling feelings of the vertigo of change, we learn the value of faith and the fuel of prayer.
WTAL 52 Days Pecking Order Day 15In this new season, God will EXPOSE you to brand new things and people. However, do not get caught up in looking at the outside of a person, relationship or situation! These things do not always reflect what is on the inside. Jesus said about the Pharisees that “outside” they were clean, but “inside” they were full of dead men’s bones (Matthew 23:27). Ask God for His wisdom and KNOWLEDGE as you navigate new territory and people!
WTAL 52 Days Pecking Order Day 16When faced with significant opportunities, you might become fearful of bringing your past into your present. Take COURAGE in God POSITIONING you; God EXPOSING you; and God granting you His KNOWLEDGE! He would not have prepared you and brought you this far if He planned on destroying you or allowing new opportunities to overwhelm you. He’s given you your PECKING ORDERS because He knows you can handle them and carry them out! Continue pecking your way out!!!
WTAL 52 Days Pecking Order Day 17  – BEFORE you can see the beauty of the surroundings in which God has POSITIONED you, you must remove the clutter! God is a God of order! “God is not the author of confusion, but of peace” (1 Cor. 14:33).
Though confusion does not stop God from working, it does stop YOU! The removal of unneeded items can reveal the beauty, functionality and lovely features of God’s creation, your possessions, and even your spirit. It’s time to clean house…physically, spiritually and mentally!
Stay Tuned…I’ll keep re-posting what my Bishop releases from God!  Let’s agree in prayer that our lives will never be the same ever again!  Let’s allow the Holy Spirit to have His way!  I believe God can do ALL THINGS, but we must apply ourselves daily!  Glory to the One Who Loved Us First!!!
Peace & Blessings,
Chiquita
Being Misunderstood!
ImageBeing a Christian isn’t the easiest thing to do sometimes, especially when you feel totally misunderstood.  It can be quite painful.  Someone has judged you without knowing all the facts, or from deliberately ignoring your point of view, but the beauty is knowing that when others misunderstand who you are, God says loud and clear, “I understand you, My child.”  He offers us His complete care and concern for our well-being.  What an awesome God we serve!
Followers of Jesus Christ know that being misunderstood was one of the hardest trials He suffered while here on earth. His message was rejected. People often talked about Him and those who followed Him.  They laughed and taunted them, but not one time did Jesus turn around and become bitter at those people.  He still loved them and showed them the mercy of God!  So you’ve got to know the closer you follow Jesus, the more you’ll be misunderstood. It’s a simple fact!  Get used to it!
To keep from getting discouraged, you’ve got to stay on your knees, and keep your eyes on God.  I mean, Only God!  Don’t look to the left or the right.  For if you do, you’ll be left feeling very disappointed.  I guess that’s why the Word of God says not to put all of your faith in man.  Let’s face it, some people can be downright nasty and mean, but don’t forget about those who may not say much around you.  Later you find out they have been spreading rumors based on the misunderstanding.  It’s sad, but true!
Of course there’s another aspect to this.  Sometimes others may misunderstand us because we may be unaware of certain things we do or say to cause the misunderstanding.  It is in those times that we step back and reflect on ourselves.  We should go before God, and seek a clear understanding of who we really are in Him.  If we don’t understand that we can’t expect others to understand us.  With this, we must learn foundational truths that will strengthen our faith and help us break free from circumstances holding us hostage.
First we must understand who we are in Christ!  Take heed. I found this write up by Lifeworks Ministries.  Check it out:
“We can only be changed by the renewing of our mind. Renewing is
like housecleaning. Get rid of the clutter. A good thorough housecleaning
means tossing out the old: the trash, the unnecessary stuff that no longer
fits our lives. Trying to layer new belongings on top of the old or just
stuffing the old items into an already overflowing closet doesn’t free us up
to embrace a new life. It only makes things more cluttered and blocks us
from lasting, substantial change.
It is the same way in our body, mind, and spirit. We can’ t just cover
up the old, we have to get rid of it. Cleansing your beliefs means holding
the old ones up to light of God’s truth and letting Him take them away.
Since we can never have a vacuum, (a place in our heart that is empty), we
must be consistent to fill up our heart with all that is good, so there is no
more room for the bad. Philippians 4:8 says ‘Finally, brethren, whatsoever
things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just,
whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever
things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise,
think on these things.’
You have to set your determination on thinking about and meditating
about , the truth of what God says about you. Those old self images will try
mighty hard to keep coming back. If you give them any consideration, if
you let yourself contemplate the possibility that maybe you aren’t all that
God says you are, those old thoughts will take up residence again and
begin to draw you back into your old life.
This is not easy. It looks easy, it doesn’t take the effort of, say,
climbing Mt Everest, but I don’t want to minimize the struggle, either.
Sadly, many of us were brought up in homes or at tended schools where
hurtful words and attitudes were constantly being dumped on us. We may
have been immersed in abuse that severely damaged our perception of
ourselves. The roots of negative beliefs are dug deep into our soul. The
only way to fully get them out is by a touch from Christ.”
As you spend time mediating on these scriptures, allow Him to
minister to your heart . Our Lord is a gentleman, He will gently start to heal
the wounds without asking you to let go of anything you are not ready to
release.
Yes, I Will!
We must learn to view change as a natural phenomenon. We must learn to anticipate it and plan accordingly for it. The future is ours to channel through God in the direction we want to go. It requires hard work and great sacrifice! Don’t wait to be moved by what others do or say. It is your sole responsibility to act and move. There is nothing the devil can do to stop you when you are operating from a spiritually charged place..something you have control over. Yes, I know it’s not always an easy thing to do, but it must be done. Your purpose and destiny are tied up in what you do now. Remember, you may not have 5 years, 2 months, or even 24 hours. Time is of the essence, and if you need to adjust some things in your life do so now. God has proven Himself many times over so let go of the worry. You are His child, and He only desires the best for His children. Stop wishing for a better life! Live a better life!!! —Peace, Chi Chi
