Why are so many of us impatient? Do we not trust that God will take care of us? Do we not believe the promise spoken to our heart? Understand this, we must humbly wait for God to do what He does best, but we must do this without looking at the clock every hour on the hour. You see, God is the Author of our lives, and He knows exactly what and when to move on our behalf. Have faith in His plan, and God will reward your patience!
But that on the good ground are they, which in an honest and good heart, having heard the word, keep it, and bring forth fruit with patience.
And not only so, but we glory in tribulations also: knowing that tribulation worketh patience;
2 Corinthians 12:12
Truly the signs of an apostle were wrought among you in all patience, in signs, and wonders, and mighty deeds.
2 Thessalonians 1:4
So that we ourselves glory in you in the churches of God for your patienceand faith in all your persecutions and tribulations that ye endure:
That ye be not slothful, but followers of them who through faith andpatience inherit the promises.
Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us,
Be patient therefore, brethren, unto the coming of the Lord. Behold, the husbandman waiteth for the precious fruit of the earth, and hath longpatience for it, until he receive the early and latter rain.
And hast borne, and hast patience, and for my name’s sake hast laboured, and hast not fainted.
